What AI Warden is
AI Warden is a likeness-registry and detection service. You register at least three reference photos of yourself, verify your identity, and pay for membership; from that point we compare your photos against other images to find potential unauthorized commercial or AI-generated use of your likeness, and we surface any matches as cases for you to individually review and approve.
You must be registering your own likeness
You may only register reference photos of yourself. By uploading photos and confirming the consent items during registration, you confirm the photos are of you and that you have the right to authorize their use for this purpose. Registration also requires passing identity verification (a government ID and a selfie match, via Stripe Identity) before membership can be activated.
What happens when you approve a case
When you approve a case, we draft the corresponding document — a takedown notice, a licensing inquiry, or an attorney-referral request — for you. For takedown notices and licensing inquiries, we do not send anything on your behalf; the draft is yours to review and send yourself. For attorney referrals, we forward your request so that an independent attorney can contact you directly.
Referral, not representation
AI Warden is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Where we refer you to an attorney, that attorney acts independently of AI Warden — we are not a party to that relationship, and any advice or representation they provide is between you and them.
No guarantee of accuracy or outcome
Facial comparison technology can produce false positives and false negatives. A match shown in your dashboard is a possible match, not a confirmed instance of unauthorized use, and it is your responsibility to review each case before approving it. We do not guarantee that any takedown, licensing conversation, or legal referral will result in a particular outcome.
Account and data deletion
You may delete your account and data at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these terms, including registering photos that are not of you, or failing identity verification.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
